A companion to a masterpiece, built to museum-grade tolerances.

Renzo Piano's pavilion sits in quiet dialogue with Louis Kahn's original Kimbell — a composition of wood, concrete, glass, and carefully filtered north light.

As Architect of Record, Kendall/Heaton developed the construction documents and administered construction for a building where every joint, reveal, and daylighting detail had to be exact.

Kendall/Heaton's role

On a building this precise, the documents and the field review are the difference between design intent and a compromise. We held the line.
