We join early and stay to the end. At each phase we bring a specific role and a specific set of instruments, refined across nearly fifty years and hundreds of complex buildings.
We join early as a technical advisor — testing the emerging design against code and zoning, and building a strong, buildable foundation from the first sketch.
We guide the owner and design team through organized decision-making that holds schedule and budget, onboard the consultants, and manage the relationships between them.
We develop the details that communicate design intent, then run thorough quality control and coordination across the full set — modeled to the KHA Revit standard.
We stay on the project: in-depth submittal review, prompt RFI responses, mock-up inspection, and budget monitoring — the same team, through closeout.
The machinery
The expensive surprises happen where systems meet. We resolve them in coordination, before steel and duct ever share a ceiling on site.
Every project is coordinated in 3D — MEP coordination and clash detection resolved in the model, backed by a 2D set of schedules and standard details drawn to our own Revit standard.
We keep large consultant teams in step across geography and time zones with responsibility matrices, decision schedules, and a disciplined meeting cadence.
Through construction
Our principals and project managers average more than two decades at the firm — and they stay on the job through construction, not just the drawings.
In-depth submittal review and prompt RFI responses keep the field moving without shortcuts.
Mock-up inspection catches the finish, the joint, and the tolerance before it is repeated a thousand times.
